Carrie Underwood Gets Drenched In Show Closing Moment
Carrie Underwood isn’t afraid of a little rain. In the case of her outdoor show in Myrtle Beach recently, she took the stage when the rain was pouring buckets of water on her.
In shorts and a sparkly tank top, Carrie strutted down the walkway to the crowd in a downpour. As the rain came down, she belts out the chorus to the show’s finale, “Before He Cheats.”
With her hair drenched and water dripping off of her, the thrilled crowd of wet fans cheered her on, singing every word with her.
Underwood posted the concert moment on her Instagram to her 13 million followers. She captioned the video clip, “We won’t let a little rain stop us! We won’t let a massive downpour stop us, either! @ccmflive #MyrtleBeach #SingingInTheRain,”
Fans were more than impressed with her dedication to playing rain or shine, and said so in the comments on the post. One fan wrote, “Carrie Underwood concert with a wet t-shirt contest thrown in…” Another fan commented, “I’ve been following your career from your American Idol days, and I’m not certain anything can top a rain version of Before He Cheats! This is epic!” One more die-hard said,

The country superstar is usually a staple of CMA Fest each year and often performs on the big Nissan Stadium stage, but not this year. Her absence from the CMA activities did not stop her from holding her 17th annual Fan Club party.
Every year since she started holding the Fan Club party, it has been at Nashville Grand Ole Opry House. That is where she gathered with her faithful following earlier this week for games, fun, and lots of Carrie’s music.
She posted several photos and video clips from the big party on Instagram. She captioned the post, “Thank you again to all the Care Bears for coming out to celebrate year 17 of our Fan Club Party!”
Underwood added, “It was a lot of fun chatting with @barrylather and seeing all of you in your blinged-out #Nashvegas outfits!”
May fans reacted to the post, including several who were there. One fan commented, “Great time again! I will make the 2300-mile journey every time I’m invited.” Another fan wrote, “Always the best time!” One more fan gushed, “It was an absolute blast!!!!! You are our absolute queen!!! Thank you, @carrieunderwood, for all you do for your care-bears!!! I hope I get to be there next year, too! Core memories for LIFE!”
