Devin's daughter is going to see Zach Bryan with a group of friends. Devin lives in New Hampshire, so her daughter wants to get a hotel room so she doesn't have to drive home after the concert. Devin thinks this is a good idea, but her husband thinks they are too young to get a hotel room without any adults with them

Devin Wants You To Vote On Whether She Should Let Her Daughter Get A Hotel Room After The Zach Bryan Concert
Jonathan: Danielle today for panic button we have a very special one. We have Devin on with us and Devin's problem can be resolved by the listeners. What's going on, Devin?
Devin: Hey, so my daughter is going to the Zach Bryan show at Gillette Stadium tomorrow. And she wants to get a hotel with some of her friends.
Danielle: OK, OK.
Jonathan: How old is your daughter?
Devin: My daughter is 17. Her friends are 18. You know they've got cars. They're driving down there. I'm not going.
Danielle: Hmm.
Devin: It's a big deal for all of us. It's her first time going to do something big like this alone.
Jonathan: And where do you live?
Devin: I live in New Hampshire.

Jonathan: So it's better than driving home, yeah.
Danielle: It's a haul.
Devin: I didn't think it was such a bad idea that she would want to stay there. However, my husband doesn't agree.
Jonathan: Is he worried that something's going to happen to her if they get the hotel room or somebody will invite some boys back or it'll just be a big party?
Devin: Honestly, I think all of those are concerns of his. They're kind of a concern of mine too, but I don't know. I feel like we raised her well.
Danielle: Yeah, sure.

Jonathan: Did you trust the friends that she's gone with?
Danielle: Yeah, yeah.
Devin: Enough. You know, I just think it's a worse idea for her to get on the road and come back home late at night.
Jonathan: I can see that because having gone, by the time you get out of there, it's gonna be like midnight and then driving home too. You're also dealing with drunks on the road too.
Danielle: By the time they get out of there. Two hours out of the parking lot. Lots of drunks on the road, possibly.
Jonathan: One, I don't know how would you get back to New Hampshire from Foxborough, but you probably take route one. There's lots of bars emptying out of that time.
Danielle: I mean. Yeah, having left plenty of concerts at Gillette late at night. It's it can be dangerous.
Jonathan: So I actually think it's not a terrible idea. And I will just close out there and this this might be actually be a point in your husband's favor. I used to stay in hotels. It was like on debate trips and stuff. But there's only one teacher for like 30 kids, though.
Danielle: Debate?
Jonathan: So it was crazy. We would show each other how to tie our ties, right? Yeah, but regardless, we pretty much did stay in hotels without any real accident. Well, there were some incidents, but they weren't bad.
Danielle: Some. Oh boy.

Jonathan: Nobody got pregnant. You know well, that's true. Alright. So that's the deal. So you agreed that. How many people need to call?
Devin: OK, so my husband and I agreed that if five people call in one way or the other that we will choose that.
Jonathan: OK. Do you think it's a good idea for Devin's daughter, 17 years old, to be staying at a hotel overnight in Foxborough?
Danielle: So you're making the decision.
Jonathan: They're going to see the Zach Bryan concert tomorrow. Do you think it's a good idea for a bunch of 17 and 18 year old girls to stay in a hotel by themselves without parental supervision? If enough of you call in and say yes, then that's what they'll do. If you say no, that's what we'll do.Devin, thank you so much.
Devin: Thank you guys.

Some people know. Some don't. Who is Zach Bryan? Wait, you don't know about Zach Bryan? Those questions may come up a lot lately. The hugely popular "underground" artist is headlining his 2nd sold-out Gillette Stadium show this summer, on July 17. This would be a good time to get to know him better, don't you think? Below you will find 9 things to know about Zach Bryan and why he's so popular.
For many the name Zach Bryan seems to have come out of nowhere. Wait, are they talking about Zac Brown, or Luke Bryan? For others, eyes roll... and of yes, of course, they know about the singer. I mean he's been an internet sensation, like...forever. Bryan has been wildly popular on college campuses for for those who embrace a more "y'allternative" brand of country. His music is straight from the heart and not overly produced. He doesn't mince words and doesn't play games in an industry known for such things.
The Humble Beginnings of Zach Bryan
It all started for Zach when he started putting his music on YouTube. His friends would record him performing, using his iPhone. That was 2017, and now he is projected to sell out Gillette Stadium, among many other large arenas.
The military vet has plenty of stories to tell. For instance, one of the most interesting stories being how he accidentally got into the music business. He never intended to be here, but is certainly enjoying the ride. So let's get into the meat of what makes this artist tick, how it all happened, and how he got here. With help from CMT and Country Thang Daily, here are 9 things to know about Zach Bryan and why he's so popular.
1. The accidental Artist
Zach wasn't shooting for a music career. It just happened. He was serving in the United States Navy just making videos for his friends when it happened. People connected. And the world went crazy for Zach Bryan music. He was just 24 years old, stationed in Washington state when he broke through. He released his original song, "Heading South," to the internet and bam! With no help at all from the music industry, millions of people watched and loved his video. It's all about the song and the connection. It's the stripped down honesty that sparked the viral reaction.
2. It's A Family Tradition
The military, not music is a family tradition for the Bryans. Zach enlisted in the U.S. Navy at age 17. It's just what he knew he was supposed to do. His late mother, Annette, dad Dewayn and his grandfather all served in the Navy. It was a way of life, and a family tradition. Music came out of just wanting to keep himself entertained, and his buddies too.
3. He's big on Social
Zach Bryan (@ZachLaneBryan) has a big social media presence. He has over 2.6 million Instagram followers, over 26,000 X (formerly Twitter) followers, and 781,000 YouTube followers.
4. He Wasn't Born in the USA
Zach was born in Japan, where his family was deployed at the time. But he is an Okie through and through. He spent quite a few years growing up in Oologah, Oklahoma. His parents moved there was Bryan was in the 8th grade. Zach has a sister named Mackenzie.
5. There's Money in his Music
According to Country Thang, Mr. Bryan’s net worth is projected to be more than $8 million. Reportedly that number is based on sponsorship, his original songs and downloads, performances and YouTube . That's a lot of money, especially for newer artist who really only has one radio hit, so far.

6. His Unique Brand Of Country
At it's core, Zach's music is country. That's the umbrella title. It's really a mix of folk, outlaw country and Americana. It's a raw, real, stripped down and honest.
