Taylor is pregnant and about to have her baby. Her husband came home in shock that one of his friends got a push present for his wife when they had a baby. Taylor is shocked he thinks its silly because she was expecting one. Is a push present to be expected now when a woman has a baby? Or is Taylor expecting something that she has no right to expect?

Here's Taylor's Push Present Dilemma

Jonathan: Today for panic button we have Taylor. And Danielle, Taylor's problem is she expects to get presents from her husband for doing the most natural thing a woman can do. So what's going on there, Taylor?

Danielle: What's the problem, Jonathan?

Taylor: What’s wrong with presents? I'm pregnant with my first child. Realistically I could go into labor any point.

Jonathan: OK. Yeah, any second now.

Taylor: And my husband came home the other night, and he was talking to me about one of our friends. And he looked at me and said can you believe that he got her a present? And I was like, what are you talking about? He got something called a push present and it's so stupid. And I was like, stupid? What do you mean stupid?

Jonathan: So….

Danielle: What a set up by him to get out of it.

Taylor: Yeah, he was like, Can you believe that? Why? You're not doing it? He was like, no, this stupid. I was like. No, no, no.

Jonathan:  It's expected nowadays. Yeah.

Taylor: Right? That's a thing. Exactly.

Danielle: He's not having the baby.

Taylor: And also, I’m kind of small and he is very large. So, I really deserve a present.

Jonathan: So the baby might be huge.

Taylor: Yeah, you might break me. I might never be the same again. The least you can do is just give me a bracelet.

Jonathan: Well, the way you're phrasing it, I can see why he might not want to. What's the point in reinvesting in this? So. So, OK, wait, hold on. So he's not getting you one. What do you expect for a push present?

Danielle: Ah. That’s awful.

Taylor: I mean.

Jonathan: A necklace? What?

Taylor: Maybe jewelry. It's a lot of different things, honestly, you know.

Jonathan: Yeah, I don't know what women want. Honestly I have two kids and never got my wife a push present.

Taylor: You should rectify that. You should go home and give her a belated push present. Thank you.

Danielle: No. OK. Katie wouldn’t want that.

Jonathan: No, my wife would be like, what are you up to now? What did you do? What did you wreck? What did you spend money on? What did you do? Yeah.

Danielle: She wouldn't want one. Yeah, exactly. What did you do? What did you buy?

Jonathan: Yeah.

Taylor: OK. OK. See, you know that.

Jonathan: I don't think it's as common as you think it is, Taylor.

Danielle: I don't think it's not as common as you think it is. Yeah, uncommon.

Jonathan: Taylor's problem is her husband isn't getting her a push present. She's eight months pregnant.

Danielle: Yeah.

Jonathan: He thinks it's stupid. She thinks this is what you do. The last child I had was seven years ago, so maybe it's something that's evolved since then. Do women deserve push presents? Certainly. Is it common to give them? I don't know. Taylor, thank you so much.

Taylor: Thank you.
