After nine years, Wynonna Judd will return to The Venetian Theatre inside The Venetian Resort Las Vegas for three special performances during National Finals Rodeo week this December.
Wynonna will play her greatest hits in honor of her 40th anniversary as a live entertainer. The shows will take place Wednesday, Dec. 11, Friday, Dec. 13, and Saturday, Dec. 14, 2024, all starting at 8:30 p.m.
Wynonna said in a statement, "Sometimes I feel like you just need to throw a big party for yourself! This is a milestone year for me. Mom and I played our very first show in 1984, which means I've been performing live for 40 years. That's more than half of my life!"
She added, "'The Greatest Hits' celebration is a chance for the fans and me to celebrate. They have been with me for so long, and my hope is that everyone will get to hear their favorite song. How many hits can we fit into one show? Let's find out!"
Tickets start at $49.50, plus applicable fees, and will go on sale to the general public Friday, July 12, at 10 a.m. PT. Tickets will be available for purchase at Ticketmaster.com, VenetianLasVegas.com.
Judd last appeared at The Venetian Theatre during "The Judds – Girl's Night Out" residency with her mother, Naomi Judd, for a nine-show run in 2015.
Wynonna and Lainey Wilson covered Tom Petty's "Refugee" in the latest release from the new tribute album, Petty Country: A Country Music Celebration of Tom Petty.
The song and a music video of their cover of "Refugee" have been released, and the video shows the two country queens in the recording studio in Nashville getting the song together and recording.
The album also includes fellow country superstars like Chris Stapleton, George Strait, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, and Dierks Bentley.
Wilson and Wynonna have become good friends. When Lainey won the Female Vocalist award at the May ACM Awards, she said from the podium that the two had become fast friends and chatted almost daily.
Walking the red carpet at the same ACM Awards, Lainey stopped to chat about her dreams. She said in one interview, "I am still dreaming because the truth is: from the beginning, I have been a dreamer, and I don't think that will ever stop."
She added, "I bet you I will be 90 years old, sitting on a couch dreaming about something."
