Squid Game: Season 2 Is Coming!
Fans of Netflix’s most-streamed show EVER, have been waiting forever for the news that Squid Game: Season 2 is coming back. The series is the biggest ever for Netflix who announced that the long-awaited second season will take place at the end of the year on December 26th. It was also announced by Netflix and Hwang Dong-hyuk (the Squid Game executive producer, writer, and director), that a third, and final, season will premiere in 2025.

What To Expect From Season 2
According to the announcement, here’s what fans can expect from season 2, “Three years after winning Squid Game, Player 456 remains determined to find the people behind the game and put an end to their vicious sport.”
According to a letter from Hwang Dong-hyuk, the real game begins! He shared with fans, “On the first day we began shooting Season 2, I remember thinking, ‘Wow, I can’t believe I’m back in the world of Squid Game.’ It almost felt surreal. I wonder how it will feel for you to be back in Squid Game after three years, as well.”
He went on to say that, “I am thrilled to see the seed that was planted in creating a new Squid Game grow and bear fruit through the end of this story. We’ll do our best to make sure we bring you yet another thrill ride. I hope you’re excited for what’s to come.”
