“Should My Child Still Bring a Gift to a No-Gift Party?”
Jake writes to The Andie Summers Show:
“My son was invited to a classmate’s birthday party. The invitation says, “No gifts,” but doesn’t give a reason why. I know I should respect the parents’ wishes, but I’m afraid if I send him without a gift he’ll be the only kid there that didn’t bring one. Is there a happy medium that I’m just not thinking of?“
