New Hampshire Teens’ Toy Drive Helps 500 Kids This Christmas
Jaidyn Stultz and Ellie Miller, both 14, have turned their small idea to give toys to kids in need into a huge success. Their project, Jaidyn and Ellie’s Donations, now in its sixth year, collects holiday presents for families in the Manchester, New Hampshire, community.
The teens promote their gift-giving cause and seek donations of presents to distribute at homeless shelters and other service organizations that help kids and families.
What started small has grown into something bigger than themselves. Today, approximately 35 local businesses have helped the teens by hosting gift donation boxes. Stultz and Miller estimate they’ll serve approximately 500 kids this year.
The girls are still collecting donations for Christmas gifts. Visit the Jaidyn and Ellie’s Donations Facebook page for a list of locations where you can drop off toys.
