Patriots officially moving on from Jerod Mayo

The New England Patriots are officially parting ways with head coach Jerod Mayo.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter first reported the news Sunday, and was quickly followed by the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. Soon after that, the Patriots confirmed Mayo’s firing through a statement by owner Robert Kraft.
