Bolyston Street is getting decked out for the 129th Boston Marathon.
On Wednesday, March 19, crews hung marathon banners on the light poles lining Boylston Street, where participants will complete the marathon by crossing the finish line on Monday, April 21. This year’s banners display the theme “Meet the Moment.”
This year, the 129th Boston Marathon takes place on the 250th anniversary of Patriots Day in Massachusetts.
