Every Red Sox season always comes with stress and excitement. Last year was a tough one for us, and the beauty and agony of sports is that we have no idea how any season will turn out. So maybe the stars can help us manage our anxiety for the next few months.

My friend Regan is an astrologer and reads charts for a living, so I convinced her to get into doing charts for our favorite sports teams and athletes.

What's In the Stars For The Red Sox This Season

The Red Sox were established in May 1901, which means they area Taurus team. Taurus are known for resilience and persistence—classic earth-sign traits. Taurus' are also very stubborn, which can be a good thing if it's used the right right. According to the stars, 2025 brings some interesting astrological transits:

  • Jupiter in Gemini (starting May 25, 2024 – June 9, 2025) → This could bring a boost in communication and strategy, possibly leading to strong teamwork and surprising comebacks.
  • Saturn in Pisces → Challenges in discipline and consistency, which could mean struggling with pitching depth or defensive errors.
  • Mars in Leo (July 2025) → A fiery competitive streak that might help them heat up post-All-Star break.

If their key players have strong astrological placements (like a Sagittarius slugger benefiting from Jupiter's influence or a Virgo pitcher thriving under Saturn's discipline), they could exceed expectations. However, if Mercury retrogrades at the wrong time (April 1-25, Aug 5-28, Nov 25- Dec 15), expect miscommunication, errors, or injury setbacks.

Ultimately, the stars suggest a streaky but exciting season—a strong second half could push them into wild-card contention.

A lot of experts are saying the Red Sox should be good this year - they are ranked the #9 best team in baseball - so that's positive. If you want to torture yourself a tad, you can relive last season by watching the new Netflix special: The Clubhouse: A Year with the Red Sox.
