A Cambridge restaurant has honored a culinary legend by dedicating a portion of the restaurant to her memory.

Harvest, an upscale contemporary American restaurant in Cambridge, has dedicated Table 102, known as "Julia's Corner," to Julia Child. According to a Boston Magazine Facebook post, Child was known to sit at the same table each time she visited the restaurant. She lived nearby Harvest at 103 Irving St. on Professor's Row from 1961 to 2001. It's also where she filmed her cooking television shows for more than 40 years.

Harvest is also commemorating Child's contributions to the culinary world through its menu. The Julia Burger, priced at $25 on the lunch menu, features beef from Savenor's Butchery, baby watercress, a brandy caramelized onion marmalade, and creamy French Boursin cheese. The Julia Burger reflects Child's love for gourmet ingredients, while emphasizing classic American flavors.

According to a Tasting Table article, Child popularized Savenor's Butchery on her television show The French Chef. Today, her name and "Bon Appétit!" catchphrase appear in the cement outside the butchery.

Child isn't the only celebrity who has been known to frequent Harvest. According to the Tasting Table, notable diners include Barack Obama, Jennifer Garner, and Paul Rudd, highlighting its high-profile status.

Harvest is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. In September, a ticketed four-course dining event celebrating the restaurant's anniversary with alumni chefs sold out.
