Plymouth is gearing up for a spooky week of Halloween festivities. Here's what's taking place during the next several days:

Tuesday, Oct. 28

A haunted trick-or-treat event will take place at the Town Hall from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Children can enjoy collecting treats in a spooky setting.

Children ages 11 and older can decorate witch hats in the craft room at the Plymouth Public Library, 132 South St., from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Registration is required for this event.

Wednesday, Oct. 29

The Spire Center will screen the classic horror film House on Haunted Hill as part of its "Spireween" horror movie countdown at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $9 and are available for purchase online.

"The Smell of Fear: Olfactory Assault" is a cheese-tasting event led by Adam Centamore at Independent Fermentations from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $49.87 and available online.

Thursday, Oct. 30

Shelly's Tea Rooms, 51 Court St., will host a "Tea & Tarot" evening from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The event will combine tarot readings with Shelly's cream tea (two freshly baked scones served with clotted cream and strawberry preserves, along with a pot of tea of your choosing). Guests are invited to participate in costume. The cost is $48.95. Reserve your spot by calling 508-927-4402 or by emailing Shelly's Tea Rooms.

Friday, Oct. 31

Uva Wine Bar, 46 Main St., will offer a Halloween dinner and medium reading. The dinner begins at 6 p.m. and will be paired with a spirit medium reading at 7 p.m. Tickets are $87.21 and are available for purchase online.

Halloween on Main Street, organized by the Plymouth Chamber of Commerce, takes place on Friday, Oct. 31. Trick-or-treating will take place at more than 70 local businesses for children ages 10 and younger from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Activities like pumpkin decorating will also be offered.
