Boston’s Seaport will kick off the season with the ninth annual Light Up Seaport Presented by Citizens on Friday, December 5, 2025, from 5:00–8:00 p.m. at Seaport Common (85 Northern Ave.). Organizers say Boston’s largest holiday tree — a 52-foot evergreen adorned with more than 10,000 twinkling lights — will headline an evening of festive cheer, live entertainment, and community moments.
“Snowport has become a must-experience winter tradition for the local community and Citizens is committed to helping attendees create holiday moments that matter,” said Mark Valentino, Head of Business Banking at Citizens. “Light Up Seaport brings the community together year after year and shines a light on what makes Boston home.”
Families can meet Snowport’s beloved Betty the Yeti at Betty’s Blizzard Bluff in The Superette Courtyard, and Seaport Insider VIPs can stop by the Seaport Insider tent (also in The Superette) for a Betty the Yeti beanie while supplies last. Details and RSVP: bostonseaport.xyz/snowport.
The celebrations continue with the Seaport Holiday Stroll on Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 1:00–4:00 p.m., spanning the neighborhood. Expect twinkling décor, one-of-a-kind shopping, and seasonal treats across Seaport. Shoppers can browse favorites including STAUD, Brave Daughters, Injeanius, Little Words Project, Blu Dot, and SoulCycle, with in-store promotions, surprise giveaways, live music, and a photobooth near the city’s biggest tree. Start at the Snowport gondola on Harbor Way and check in with a Seaport Ambassador to snag a limited-edition Seaport Stroll Tote using the Seaport Insider app (while supplies last).
Seaport will also mark Hanukkah with a Menorah Lighting on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at 4:30 p.m. in One Seaport Courtyard (60 Seaport Blvd.), presented in partnership with Chabad of Downtown Boston. Guests can enjoy traditional treats, including kosher jelly donuts and chocolate gelt. More information and RSVP: bostonseaport.xyz/snowport.
