Eastern Edge, a new 11,000-square-foot food hall in Kendall Square, Cambridge, is set to open in early 2026. It will be located near the eastern edge of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) campus at 290 Main St.

The venue, developed by Gather Group, will host nine food and drink vendors, with five already announced and four more to come. According to a MassLive report, the following will be among the debut vendors:

  • Clover, a modern Mediterranean fast-casual business, will feature locally sourced Massachusetts ingredients with a rotating daily menu.
  • Juicy Jay's will operate as a burger shop, offering American-style burgers with globally inspired sauces and fresh buns. Eastern Edge will be its first permanent location.
  • Perillas emphasizes modern bibimbap and Korean barbecue bowls with healthy ingredients. The business is named after the perilla leaf, a staple ingredient in Korean cooking.
  • Everybody Gotta Eat features Southern and Caribbean comfort food.
  • Viet Citron celebrates Vietnamese street food, including banh mi, banh hofi bowls, and pho, with a focus on from-scratch preparation.

The interior concept features a Venetian-inspired café and seating for 275, integrating historic touches with contemporary design.

More updates as they become available will be shared on Eastern Edge's website.
