It’s almost Big Game season again, which means it’s time for another dose of Ben Affleck doing what he does best—being wicked committed to his Dunkin’ bit.
The Boston native and self-proclaimed coffee loyalist is back in Dunkin’s 2026 Super Bowl teaser, which premiered during the GRAMMY Awards broadcast on Sunday night. The spot kicks off a new chapter for Affleck’s “DunKings,” a recurring gag that started with his real-life love for the chain and turned into one of the most talked-about ad series in recent memory.
According to Dunkin’s official blog, Affleck once again dives headfirst into his latest mission, complete with over-the-top enthusiasm and an ensemble that’ll have fans of 90s TV grinning.
As People reports, this marks Affleck’s fourth year starring in a Dunkin’ Super Bowl campaign. The teaser shows him plotting a comeback with help from “Jen and Matt” — revealed to be none other than Jennifer Aniston and Matt LeBlanc.
That’s right: it’s a mini Friends reunion, brewed fresh by Dunkin’.
Entertainment Weekly describes the teaser as a self-aware “cringe” ride, featuring Affleck trying to recruit the TV icons (and actor Jason Alexander) for his latest “creative” venture—an eyebrow-raising band promo complete with VHS aesthetics. The footage even pokes fun at his previous attempts to make “The DunKings” a real musical group.
No word yet on whether wife Jennifer Lopez is making another cameo like in 2024’s viral Dunkin’ ad, but judging by Affleck’s full-on commitment to the bit, fans can expect another caffeine-fueled comedy moment during Super Bowl LVIII on Feb. 9.
As always, Dunkin’ leans into its Boston roots with tongue-in-cheek pride—and Affleck continues to make the case that nobody sells a donut (or a deadpan delivery) quite like a guy from Cambridge.
