Rascal Flatts Member Files For Divorce, Claims Affair
Rascal Flatts’ Joe Don Rooney has filed for divorce from his wife of seventeen years, former Playboy model Tiffany Fallon. He claims she is cheating on him.
According to new legal docs obtained by TMZ, Rooney says Fallon is having an affair with her personal trainer. He says the affair started before he filed for divorce in January 2021 and believes the “adulterous relationship” is still going strong.
His wife admits to the affair but added in documents that Rooney withdrew from the marriage due to “habitual alcoholism and drug abuse.” She also claims he is guilty of adultery. Meanwhile, the Flatts’ guitarist denies abusing narcotic drugs, although he admits he’s used cocaine a few times. He says he suffers from an alcohol disorder and is getting treatment. He claims that alcohol is not the problem with the marriage; it’s her affair, which he says started in 2020.
Joe and Tiffany, a former Miss Georgia and Playmate of the Year have three kids together.
Back in September of 2021, Rooney was busted for DUI in Tennessee. In June, we reported that he would serve jail time and spent two days in a Nashville area jail after pleading guilty.
His remaining sentence of 11 months and 27 days was suspended. Rooney also lost his driver’s license. He will be eligible to apply for a restricted driver’s license for a vehicle with a built-in breathalyzer device.
Rascal Flatts released more than forty singles, sixteen of which reached number one on the Billboard Hot Country Songs.
On January 7, 2020, the trio announced that they would be disbanding following a farewell tour after 22 years together. However, this farewell tour was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic; the group’s disbandment was officially confirmed in October 2021.
