Hi there! Are you ready to test yourself versus the All Music Earworm Challenge? Great. But first: What is the All Music Earworm Challenge?

Fabulous question.

I have cultivated 10 of the biggest earworms in all genres of music. An earworm is a song or portion of a song that gets so stuck in your head that you sing it over and over (aloud or in your own brain) until it seems like it will never end, sometimes leading to the following symptoms: enjoyment, frustration, hallucinations, total-dread. Sounds fun, huh?

The following 10 selections comprise the test. Listen to a portion of each song, make sure you include the full chorus and at least 10 seconds on either side.

Then go about your business for the rest of the day.

The next morning go through this list again. Did any of the earworms infect your ear and become lodged and replayed in your brain during the rest of the day? If so, you failed the Earworm Challenge. Please write to me on Instagram @jacksonblueshow and let me know which song(s) successfully invaded your brain so I can continue compiling data.

So far only 8% of people have reported being uneffected by the earworms.

Share with your friends and torture them too. They’ll love you for it. OK ready? Here we go!

  • Carly Rae Jepsen "Call Me Maybe"

  • Baha Men "Who Let the Dogs Out"

  • John Denver "Take Me Home, Country Roads"

  • The Sherman Brothers "It's A Small World"

  • Journey "Don't Stop Believing"

  • Lady Gaga "Poker Face"

  • Walker Hayes "Fancy Like"

  • 50 Cent "In Da Club"

  • Queen "Bohemian Rhapsody"

  • Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart "Eine Kleine Nachtmusik" 1st Movement

  • THE TEST IS NOW COMPLETE!

Please remember to revisit this page tomorrow morning and let me know how you did!

Thanks for taking the ALL MUSIC EARWORM CHALLENGE.
