A new study is throwing some shade at the Bay State’s party skills. Bonus Finder analyzed over 100 U.S. cities to determine who’s the life of the party and who’s the party pooper and unfortunately we seem to be the latter.
The analysis was based on factors such as # of bars and nightclubs, late night food spots, hotels, casinos, and strip clubs. They also factored in average price of an alcoholic drink, average price of a hotel room, and time of last call at the bar. What they found? Florida and New Jersey are waaaaayyyyyy better at partying then us. New England didn’t even have one entry in the Top 50. Florida had 3 in the Top 5. Ugggg that hurts.
So here’s what I’ll give you. I’ll give you the rankings of every New England state that made the Top 100 party cities list – hold onto your hats, there’s a whopping 5 in the Top 100… in all of New England! I’ll also give you the Top 10 Party Cities in the U.S. By the way kudos to Bangor, Maine on beating Boston. I’d tell them to celebrate that win but apparently they already do that better than us so who am I to talk?
