‘The Poop Museum’ is Coming to Watertown
Yes, you read that correctly: ‘The Poop Museum’ is coming to Watertown.
The Poop Museum will be opening for what appears to be one day only on Friday November 10th at 4pm. It will making it’s residency at the Watertown Free Public Library. The library posted a teaser on social media saying, “Why is poop stinky? Which animal does a poop dance? Educator Susie Maguire will visit WFPL and answer these questions and more while teaching fun, fascinating facts about poop!”
I was excited to see that the Poop Museum had a website so I punched it in and it redirects you to Susie Maguire’s website which has the cryptic message sprawled out: “magical things coming soon.” While this is probably just a placeholder for an eventual website which the educator will launch, seeing that she owns the website thepoopmuseum.com makes me think that the sky is the limit with this traveling museum of poo.
The kids gave the museum 5000 stars out of 5 so you know it’s got to be good. *insert poop emoji here*
I wonder if Susie Maguire knows that a Massachusetts city was recently named one of the dog poop capitals of the United States. What an honor, huh? LOL
So what parts of the country have the worst dog poop problem? Not the sexiest thing to be pondering but somebody’s got to do it and those somebodies are known as the Dog Advisory Council.
They used the metric of how many complaints per 100,000 residents as a good baring to determine which towns/cities have proportionately worse problems with picking up after their pets. One Massachusetts city made the Top 10, crowning it as one of the Dog Poop Capitals of the US.
Read on below to see who got the dubious honor and please be courteous and pick up after your poochie.
