New England Car Wash Chain Offers Pumpkin Spice Service to Benefit Charity
This time of year, you just can’t escape pumpkin spice, but a New England car wash chain is taking the seasonal scent/flavor and using it for a good cause.
ScrubaDub is offering a pumpkin spice-scented add-on to their list of services for an additional $5 to your car wash. Not only will you enjoy that fall aroma, but the money from the add-on will be donated to Community Servings, a local organization that offers different medical diet meals to those with a critical or chronic illness. Customers who don’t want the pumpkin spice scent add-on but do want to support a great cause can donate $5 and get a Simonize Ultrashine add-on to their car wash.
According to WickedLocal.com, ScrubaDub has donated over $278,000 to Community Servings in recent years, which has helped provide over 41,000 meals.

A Heartwarming Story of Finding 2 Lost Rings in Boston Common
If you’re in need of a story with a happy ending, this story about a woman who lost two of her rings in Boston Common will make you feel warm and tingly on the inside.
According to NBC10, Lori Lange was in Boston from Phoenix to visit her mother’s hometown. She was in Boston Common, having some fall fun with some family and friends, and throwing leaves around. Unfortunately, during all of the fun, two rings flew off of her hand: her wedding ring and a ring that belonged to her mother.
Lange and a group of people returned to where they were in Boston Common to try and search for the rings. While looking for the rings, Kory Kelly, who was visiting Boston with his mother, saw the search and decided to see what was going on. Kelly said he had some extra time, and he decided to join the search party.
As lucky would have it, the first pile of leaves Kelly kicked over unveiled Lange’s mother’s ring. Unbeknownst to Kelly, they were looking for a second ring. Clearly, luck was on his side, because just after learning of the second ring, Kelly found that one, too. (Video of Kelly finding the second ring can be seen below.)
Lange said, “I will believe he had his angel wings under his little red flannel shirt. Just his demeanor, his pure love and happiness and joy, he’s such a good person.”
