Kelsea Ballerini Sends Special Surprise To Young Fan Battling Cancer
Seeing Kelsea Ballerini meeting my own daughter backstage and seeing how genuinely kind she is with her superfans (my daughter is one) first hand makes me want to push this story of her incredible kindness out for all to see.
9 year-old Ayden Morgan met Kelsea at a meet & greet in Florida. Ayden was born with a rare brain cancer that left him completely blind since he was 3 years-old. He’s gone through more than 21 surgeries and he had his wish granted to meet his favorite artist when she played near his hometown thanks to the organization Do It For The Love. During their meet and greet the two really connected – especially over their love of music, guitars in particular.
This past Tuesday Ayden received a special gift in the mail – a guitar from Kelsea Ballerini with his name on the back in braille. She also included a personal note which read “I wanted to get you a special guitar to encourage you to keep playing and using your gift. All my love, Kelsea.”
