Yesterday we lost one of the country’s most talented songwriters, the legendary John Prine, following a tough battle with COVD-19.
John’s most popular song was “Angel From Montgomery,” made famous by Bonnie Raitt.
Yesterday, the Dixie Chicks’ lead singer, Natalie Maines posted her version of this beautifully written classic, commenting “my kids got introduced to John Prine tonight and helped me do a tribute. I❤️John Prine. R.I.P.
