About Elle King:
After debuting with 2012’s The Elle King EP, Elle King hit number one on the Billboard alternative chart with “Ex’s & Oh’s.” Her musical style is a mix of pop- and country-tinged retro-rock. King has released collaborations with artists including Ronnie Spector, Dierks Bentley, Andy Grammer, and her latest, Miranda Lambert.
Elle King was born Tanner Elle Schneider in 1989 in Los Angeles, the daughter of London King and actor/comedian Rob Schneider. At only 9 years old, King was listening to all-girl pop-punk bands and decided she wanted to be a singer and musician. By the age of 13, she was playing guitar and later adding banjo to her skill set. She then began street busking and gigging around New York at the age of 16, moving to Philadelphia to attend the University of Arts, where she majored in painting and film.
Congratulations are in order for Elle King as her duet with Miranda Lambert is her first song to hit country radio and top the charts! Take a listen below!
About Miranda Lambert:
Growing up in Texas, Miranda Lambert was no stranger to music. With influences like Elvis Presley and Willie Nelson, she entered her first country music talent show at only 10- years old. She then began to sing professionally while still in high school.
Miranda recently announced that she will be opening her own bar in Nashville called “Miranda Lambert’s Casa Rosa.” She will be the first female country artist to have opened her own bar on lower Broadway. What a huge accomplishment, congrats Miranda!
