When he was just 14, after watching the CMA Awards on tv, Jason Aldean decided he wanted to be a country star. His mom drove him to his first gig at the VFW Hall in their hometown, of Macon, Georgia.
10 albums later, here we are, on release day of the album named after the place that helped shape this country music superstar. The first part of the double album, Macon, was relased back in November. Today we get the 2nd half of the double album, called Georgia. It was a new approach to releasing a project for Jason Aldean.
We talk about the album, the early days, Macon, playing Fenway and breaking records there and favorite Boston things.
