It so refreshing to talk to a star on the rise. There’s an excitement and a hunger with new artists. And because they are in the midst of a grind on their way up there is a sense of release in their communication. At least that has been my experience. Check out my conversation with “Mind On You” artist, George Birge, here. You’ll hear what I’m talking about. He’s the real deal; open, honest and electrified by the journey.
George talks about the his first hit as a solo artist, touring, where he came from and enjoying the moments. There is a real sense of appreciation for the long road that has brought the father of 2 boys here. He’s a great conversationalist, answering each question with comfort, ease and enthusiasm.
George is headed to New England this Spring on a tour with Parker McCollum. You can see them with Corey Kent on May 25. More info and tickets are HERE. He’s made quite a few friends on the road over the years, George shares which artist has become a true friend and mentor.
We play a game to get to know George Birge even better. I call it “On the Birge.” Find out what other talents he has, some of his favorite spots in Boston, his favorite Christmas movie and so much more.
