You may not know his name yet, but you should. And that’s why I’m here to introduce you to Ray Fulcher. Ray co-wrote 8 of the 12 phenomenal tracks on the #1 debut album from superstar- in- the- making, Luke Combs, including the #1 hit, “When It Rains It Pours.” That’s somewhat unheard of, having that many co-writes on one album! I had a chance to speak with Ray on the phone today, as we get ready to welcome him, and his band, to Loretta’s Last Call on Landsdowne Street in Boston this Thursday night. Take a listen to this Georgia boy tell me how he met Luke (virtually), and how “When It Rains It Pours” came to be (it only took 3 hours).
