There’s one month to go until our Country 1025 Country Christmas Party. (December 16 at 8pm)
Carolyn Kruse caught up with one of the stars… ok, technically 3. The hot trio Runaway June is a group made up seriously talented women, who have all “runaway” to chase their American dream. RJ’s biggest hit was 2018’s ” Buy My Own Drinks,” which became a top ten hit nationally. Their debut “Lipstick” went top 30, and their current, “We Were Rich” has recently cracked the top 40.
Most recently Natalie Stovall joined the group, following Hannah Mulholland’s departure. She joins founding members Naomi Cooke and Jennifer Wayne.
The harmonies are tight, the songwriting relatable and their story is captivating.
The girls told Kruser that 2 out of three of them have a Boston connection! One met her husband while attending Berklee, another’s boyfriend is from Boston.
Find out what some of their most memorable Christmas gifts were, how it was touring with Carrie Underwood and all about their new Christmas EP, When I Think About Christmas.
