Hey everyone, Shannon here! Some of you may not already know this about me, but I am a HUGE Saturday Night Live fan. Like, really huge. I haven’t missed an episode in over 13 years. It’s actually one of the reasons I took a career in radio. I discovered SNL when I was in middle school and I became fascinated with the “live” production of the show, the thrill that anything could happen at any moment.

Since I was 16 years old, I have been entering the SNL lottery every year in hopes to win tickets. For the whole month of August, SNL opens its lottery to anxious fans. You have one chance to convince their staff that YOU deserve to be an audience member at a dress- rehearsal or live taping. That’s a lot of pressure! Obviously, my pleads haven’t worked in the past.
