As we approach the Fourth of July, we wanted to highlight a few Country stars that have served in the military.  We thank all those who have served and sacrificed for our great county!

  Johnny served in the the U.S Air were he became a Morse code intercept operation!

• George Strait

  George served in the U.S. Army from 1971 - 1975. While serving, he was in a band called "Rambling Country".
• Craig Morgan

  Share

  Craig Morgan served 10 years on active duty in the U.S. Army, along with 7 years in the Reserves. He rose to Staff Sergeant and was deployed during Desert Storm.

• George Jones

  George served in the US Marine Corps.

• Kris Kristofferson

  Share

  Kris served as an army helicopter pilot. He attained the rank of Captain while serving.
• Jamey Johnson

  Share

  Jamey spent 8 years serving in U.S. Marines, making his way up the military ranks to a Corporal.

• Conway Twitty

  Conway served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

• James Otto

  James served in the Navy for two years, following in the footsteps of both his father and grandfather.
