Skiing events at the 2022 Beijing Olympics begin on Friday, February 5 and run through Sunday, February 20. All events will be streamed live on Peacock and you can also catch select events on NBC, USA, and the Olympic Channel.

There are six disciplines of skiing included in this year’s Olympics: alpine, biathlon, cross-country, freestyle, nordic combined, and ski jumping.

Here is the Olympic alpine skiing event schedule:
February 7, 12:45 a.m. – Women’s giant slalom
February 7, 10:00 p.m. – Men’s super-g
February 9, 12:45 a.m. – Women’s slalom
February 9, 9:30 p.m. – Men’s combined downhill
February 10, 1:15 a.m. – Men’s combined slalom
February 10, 10:00 p.m. – Women’s super-g
February 13, 12:45 a.m. – Men’s giant slalom
February 14, 10:00 p.m. – Women’s downhill
February 16, 12:45 a.m. – Men’s slalom
February 16, 9:30 p.m. – Women’s combined downhill
February 17, 1:00 a.m. – Women’s combined slalom
February 18, 10:00 p.m. – Team event

Below, meet the talented men and women nominated to compete in the 2022 U.S. Olympic alpine ski team in Beijing.

• Mikaela Shiffrin

  At 26 years old, the Colorado native is an American two-time Olympic Gold Medalist and World Cup alpine skier. She is a three-time Overall World Cup champion, a four-time world champion in slalom, and a six-time winner of the World Cup discipline title in that event.

• Breezy Johnson

  Also 26, the Wyoming native is an American World Cup alpine ski racer on the U.S. Ski Team. She competes in the speed events of downhill and super-G. Johnson made her World Cup debut in December 2015.

• Jacqueline Wiles

  29-year-old Jackie Wiles hails from Portland, Oregon. She is a World Cup alpine ski racer and specializes in the speed events of Downhill and Super-G. She made her World Cup debut in November 2013 and competed in the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.
• Tricia Mangan

  24-year-old Patricia is an American alpine skier from Buffalo, New York. She competed in the women's giant slalom at the 2018 Winter Olympics.

• Paula Moltzan

  Paula, 27, is an American World Cup alpine ski racer and specializes in slalom. Hailing from Minnesota, she began racing at Buck Hill, south of Minneapolis. She competed at the World Championships in 2015 at Beaver Creek, finishing twentieth in the slalom.

• Keely Cashman

  22-year-old Keely comes from a small town in California. She made her world cup debut in 2017 and began competing regularly on the tour during the 2019/2020 season. She is one of three women on the U.S. Ski Team competing in both tech and speed events and hopes to compete in multiple events in Beijing.
• Nina O’Brien

  Nina, 24, is an alpine ski racer from San Francisco. She specializes in the technical events of giant slalom and slalom.

• Maureen Lebel

  23-year-old Maureen "Mo" Lebel grew up in a family of skiers. Her mom taught skiing in her native California, and her three older siblings all ski raced as well.

• AJ Hurt

  California native Amelia Josephine “AJ” Hurt made her World Cup debut in October 2018 in Sölden, Austria, and competed in the World Championships in 2021. This season, Hurt, 21, is focusing on slalom, GS, and super-G. She began the Olympic season by finishing 20th in the opening world cup GS. She is one of three women on the U.S. team competing in both speed and technical races.

  Katie Hensien, 22, has finished in the world cup points in slalom three times so far, and she competed for the U.S. at the 2021 world championships. The Washington state native recently returned from world cup racing in Europe and a week later, finished fifth in a collegiate GS.

  29-year-old Bryce Bennett has been a world-cup mainstay in speed events. Big man Bryce Bennett grew up in the big mountains surrounding Lake Tahoe, standing at 6’7".

  Ryan Cochran-Siegle, aka RCS, is part of the second generation of “Skiing Cochrans.” The 29-year-old Vermont native is the son of 1972 Olympic slalom gold medalist Barbara Ann Cochran.
• Travis Ganong

  The California native became the first U.S. man in a decade to win a world championship medal in downhill (silver). The 33-year-old will be gunning for gold in super-G and downhill in Beijing.

• Tommy Ford

  Tommy, 32, specializes in giant slalom and super-G. The New Hampshire native's best World Cup result to date is a first place finish at a giant slalom event in December of 2019.

• Luke Winters

  21-year-old Luke is a slalom specialist who grew up skiing Oregon's Mt. Hood.
• River Radamus

  23-year-old River is an alpine ski racer from Colorado. He is a three-time Youth Olympic Games gold medalist and a two-time World Junior Champion.
