The 2022 CMT Nominations were just revealed, and 12 videos are vying for the top award of Video of The Year. The honor has been awarded since 2002; Kenny Chesney won the very first CMT Video of the Year Award for his video “Young.” Other major superstars that have won Video of the Year include Blake Shelton in 2018 for “I’ll Name The Dogs” and Tim McGraw in 2016 for “Humble and Kind.”

Keith Urban has won the top award three times total in 2005 and then in 2006. He most recently won the top award in 2017 for “Blue Ain’t Your Color.”

Carrie Underwood is the superstar that has won Video of the Year the most times winning in 2007, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and then she won the honor for the last three years in a row, 2021, 2020, and 2019, for “Cry Pretty.”

This time, Carrie is again up for the award along with Jason Aldean for their duet’s video “If I Didn’t Love You.”
