So I’m putting myself into a wrestling meditation. While in this peaceful powerbomb – err, power nap – I will pull from the wrestling ethos 5 Big WWE Wrestlemania 40 Predictions.

Keep in mind that I do this purely out of fun. While these are my predictions, my favorite part about wrestling is when it’s UNpredictable. So while part of me hopes my Wrestlemania 40 predictions are money, part of me hopes I’m dead wrong across the board. And if you want some really ridiculous Wrestlemania 40 predictions, I have a few of those too RIGHT OVER HERE.

Have fun watching Wrestlemania! And if you’d like to share your Wrestlemania predictions, I’d love to see them! DM me on Instagram here: @jacksonblueshow

  • Drew McIntyre Wins Big... in front of a crowd!

Drew McIntyre was screwed by the pandemic. He was on fire. The WWE did a pretty good job building him up for the WWE title match at Wrestlemania 36 against Brock Lesnar. He won that match in front of zero live audience members because of COVID shutdowns. Crazy that that was 4 years ago!! 4 years later Drew is hotter than he was then and will win the WWE Heavyweight Championship over Seth “Freakin'” Rollins and set up an upcoming challenge from CM Punk who will be handling guest commentary duties for the match.

  • But that's not all for Drew...

Prediction #2 is that Drew McIntyre won’t just beat Seth Rollins for his belt. He’ll (storyline) injure Seth Rollins somehow in the process. This means Seth won’t be able to help his on-and-off-buddy Cody Rhodes win the Undisputed Universal Championship over Roman Reigns in Night 2’s main event of Mania, thus “finishing the story.”

Did you notice Drew talking to Paul Heyman in the background on RAW the other night? What do you think they were talking about? And what could be in it for Drew if he does the Bloodline’s dirty work by taking Seth out?

  • Night 1's Main Event will add drama to Night 2's Main Event

I fully expect the Bloodline to conquer Cody & Seth in the night 1 main event leading to the main event of night 2 being “Bloodline Rules” for Roman/Cody 2.
What is Bloodline Rules? Nobody knows! Obviously all members of the Bloodline will make their presence felt in the match.
How can Cody Rhodes – one man – defeat one of the most dominant factions in WWE history all on his own?! Especially if Seth Rollins is injured and can’t have his back (or turns on him)?
Drama Mama leading into Night 2!

  • FINALLY! The Night 2 Main Event Prediction if you smell what I'm cookin'

The Night 2 main event will be contested under Bloodline Rules so basically it’ll be an action packed shmozzfest (is that a real word BTW?). Weapons, interferences, blood, Mama Rhodes’ belt – they’ll all be involved. Here’s how I think it’ll shake out:

Seth Rollins taken out by Drew McIntyre.

Jimmy Uso gets involved, Jey Uso takes care of him.

Solo Sikoa gets involved, John Cena surprise appearance to take care of him. Remember, last time we saw Cena (besides on that truck while Rock was assaulting Cody in the rain) he was getting squashed by Solo.

Finally, the Rock gets involved and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin comes down, hits a stunner on Rock, crowd goes nutty.

Cody hits a Crossroads on Roman – 1-2-3. New champ!

Show goes off the air with a passing of the torch moment with Cena and Austin holding Cody’s arms up as he clutches the championship his father never won, happy tears streaming down his face as mom joins them in the ring to hold up the title.

    Aaaaaannnnnnnnnnddddd scene!

  • Prediction #5 is actually a bunch of smaller predictions:

These aren’t necessarily solid predictions since some of them contradict my above predictions. These are things I still think could happen:

Drew McIntyre “injures” Seth Rollins on Night 1 leading to CM Punk taking on Drew for the title on Night 2. CM Punk wins the belt. This might also lead to John Cena being Cody’s replacement partner in the Night 1 main event.
Gunther keeps on rolling, successfully defending against Sami Zayne.
Someone beats Judgement Day and wins the tag straps. Who? I’ll take… New Day? (Another random prediction: Big E returns at some point… and is blindside attacked by Ridge Holland on his emotional return.)
Match that “steals the show”: Rhea Ripley vs. Becky Lynch (Rhea wins BTW)

That’s all I got! Hit me with your predictions and any feedback on mine! Enjoy the show!
