A Talk With Tim McGraw: ‘Standing Room Only,’ A New Album And Yellowstone

It's not everyday I get to say, "Hi Tim McGraw" and actually have him answer back. The legendary country music star and award winning actor called to talk about his postive-message, life-affirming new song, "Standing Room Only." He's speaks so passionately of his latest release that follows his 34th #hi, "7500 OBO."

Tim has been putting out hit songs for as long as we've been on the air. He's one of the few artists from the 90s that continues to put out commercially successful music. Welcoming Tim to all of his fans listening in Boston, I told him he should do a Boston movie shoot. He offered an idea of a role he could embrace if he did a Boston movie. Take a listen...

Tim talks about what his brand new single, "Standing Room Only" means to him and how the song touched him right away.

It's hard to even imagine, but Tim's last hit "7500 OBO" was his 45th #1. He sure sounded like a proud pop talking about his daughter's role in the video.

Tim said working on the Yellowstone prequel 1883 was full of long days, lots of horseback riding, which he loved and working with his wife. He really enjoyed that. But admitted one of his co-worker's made Faith's knees go weak.

Tim told me "Standing Room Only" will be on a new album he's been working on, and it's close to finish.

New single, new album...generally means a tour to go with it. And yes...there is a big one coming. according to Tim. And I begged him not to forget Boston.
