The odds of making it in Nashville, and becoming a #1 recording artist have got to be one in a million. They don’t call it a 10 year town for nothing. Now, think about the odds of 2 tall artists named Brett making it in Nashville. and becoming huge country stars. It happened. And there’s more. Both Brett Eldredge and Brett Young are over 6’4″ tall. These 2 country stars also share a birthday, today March 23!  Here is the tall tale of 2 Bretts on their shared birthday.

These birthday Bretts have both performed at our Country 1025 Street Party, and are only 5 years apart. Their lives are intertwined and yet, completely different. Join me in celebrating the birthdays and the similarities and differences of Brett Young (3/23/1981) and Brett Eldredge (3/23/1986).   • Brett Young and Baseball

    Played college baseball, as a pitcher for theMississippi team, Ole Miss (full ride) . He played for a year and eventually transferred to Fresno State University This Brett was called by two MLB teams, Tampa Bay and Minnesota, but decided to play college ball to improve his skills and get an education behind him. Unfortunately an elbow injury forced Young to end his baseball career. It all worked out well for the former athlete who now gets a workout running around the stage!

  • Brett Eldredge And The Chicago Cubs

    Eldredge is a die-hard Cubbies fan! He’s even thrown out the ceremonial first pitch.  The video for his 2016 hit, “Wanna Be That Song” was filmed at historic Wrigley Field. And Brett even missed the 2016 CMA Awards to attend Game 7 of the 2016 World Series, where the Cubs beat the Indians

  • Brett Young and The Patriots connection

    Young not only has a Patriots connection, but he also a Massachusetts connection. His uncle, Randy Vataha lives in Lincoln, MA, and played for the New England Patriots from 1971-1976.

  • Brett Eldredge and The Love of his life

    It’s no secret who has stolen Brett E’s heart. It’s his dog, Edgar! Edgar was named after the county where Brett grew up. You will often see Edgar on Brett’s social media posts. He’s a handsome fella. They’ve been best buds for quite a few years now. In 2018, People magazine even did a story of Brett and his buddy Edgar and their incredible love story.

  • Which Brett is taller?

    According to IMDb Brett Young stands 6’6″ and Brett Eldredge is nearly 6’5″. So Young takes the tall trophy.

  • Where are the Bretts from?

    Brett Eldredge was born in Paris! (Illinois, that is), which explains his love for the Chicago Cubs. Brett Young was born in Anaheim, CA and went to school is Costa Mesa, CA, which explains his love of surfing.

  • Musical Heroes

    Brett Eldredge and long professed his appreciation for Frank Sinatra. It’s obvious in his singing, especially his Christmas album, Glow. He also sites Sinatra as a style influence, and told Maxim; “he suit game needs to be strong. Buy one and spend a little extra money to get it fitted to you just right. I think it’s always good to show up in style. I think that’s the biggest secret, and the biggest way to impress. Dress to impress, you know?”

    Meanwhile, Brett Young told Vogue his influences leaned heavy on soulful music artists like Marvin Gaye and Al Green. He also cited “Crazy Love” by Van Morrisson as being the kind of timeless song he draws from.
