America is Amazon-obsessed. Amazon Prime Day has become so large and buzzed about that it actually genuinely feels kind of like a holiday now. It’s gotten so popular that it has actually split itself into two days for twice as much Amazon Prime Day. People love their Amazon. No longer do you have to go bounce from store to store to store running errands, now you can take care of it all inside an app in your phone in 5 minutes time and have it all delivered right to your front door. It’s like a real-life genie in a lamp… who takes cash.
Upgraded Points launched a survey studying each state’s enthusiasm for Amazon. To find out they surveyed 3,200 online shoppers and asked them about their level of obsession with the company on a scale from 1 to 10, how much they spent last year on the Prime Day sale, and much more.
Through the survey they found out that the average American spends $91.75 on Amazon purchases each month. A quarter of Americans shop on Amazon once a week or more often and just over half only buy Prime products when shopping on Amazon. Their findings also report that 34% of women would rather give up sex for a year than Amazon for a year. Ok. We’ll just leave that right there and move on to why we’re here:
The following are the 6 Most Amazon-Obsessed States in America. I’ll give you the rank, the state, and the percent of the state’s residents who consider their love for Amazon to be a 7-10 out of 10. I’ll finish up by telling you where Massachusetts finished on the list.
Oh I’ll throw some Netflix show recommendations in there as well since we’re talking about our Netflix obsessions and all…
