Names.org just released it's list of the top baby names for 2023. They listed each state and the popular girls and boys names. Some of the names unique to Massahusetts, and not as popular in other states, are Jack (has to be the Kennedy reference), Ella and Chloe.
The popularity of the name Benjamin fell this year, but it's still in the top 10. Meanwhile, the #1 girl's name has been at the top spot for the last 5 years! According to names.org, parents in Massachusetts tend to use historical references from our state, when picking a child's name. They base the list on Social Security Administration data on births, along with user interest on their website. Take a look at the most popular baby names in Massachusetts 2023!
1. Olivia and Noah
Olivia is queen when it comes to girls names in Massachusetts. It's been the most popular name the last 5 years, and is predicted to be #1 again by this year's end. The most famous Olivia right now is actress (and former love interest of Harry Styles0, Olivia Wilde.
Singer Noah Thompson was plucked out of obscurity to win American Idol last year.

Famous Charlotte's include Princess Charlotte, daughter of William and Kate, and the popular Sex and the City character, Charlotte York (played by Kristin Davis).
