I have been looking forward to Tuesday! I am very excited to share with you some Songs You Need To Hear. The weather is hopefully turning warmer, the energy is coming back, which means it’s country music’s time to shine. Here are a few songs to check out.

  • Kelsey Hart - Life With You

Here’s a song that has been climbing the country charts for some time now, but when he came it played it for us in the Country 102.5 Studio, I had a re-found love and appreciation for it. Check out Kelsey Hart’s debut single “Life With You.” It’s a good ‘ol country love song that I thought would be popular at weddings. I asked Kelsey, “have you had any fans use it for their first-dance song?” and to my shock, he replied “yeah, I did.” I was amazed. He wrote the song for his girlfriend at the time and it was just a rough unmastered song when it was played during their moment, but he said that’s what made it special. Make sure you check out the now-fully-mastered version!

  • Scotty McCreery - Fall Of Summer

It’s probably the warm weather today, but I’m in a summer-music-mood, and I don’t care. Let’s run with it. Here’s Scotty McCreery’s new song “Fall Of Summer.” It reminds me a lot of Luke Bryan’s hit from a few years back called “Sunrise, Sunburn, Sunset.” It’s got that same nostalgic feel that I love in a country song.

  • ERNEST x Lainey Wilson - Would If I Could

I love a brand new country song that sounds like a really old country song! That feeling is definitely captured with this song. ERNEST and Lainey complement each other fantastically when it comes to vocals, and the 90s country instrumentation is so cool in this song.
