Last night, 2005 American Idol winner, Grammy Award winner and country music superstar, Carrie Underwood went into coach mode. Carrie was back on American Idol where whe mentored contestants, offering her advice as a contestant and now a music icon.

Last night’s episode had the top 5 performing for a nationwide vote, before facing the elimination round. Five became three by the end of the night. With the 3 remaining heading back for hometown visits, before a winner is crowned next Sunday, May 22.

The contestants were “Blown Away” in Underwood’s presence. Most of them even got to catch one of her Vegas shows to watch her live in action, before heading back to California to peform one of her songs for votes.

  Noah wasn’t able to see Carrie Underwood peform, as he was still quarantining from COVID-19 at that time. But he was able to get great advice via a big screen from the big star!

  Bubbly Leah was literally floored when she found out Carrie Underwood would be offering advice. She actually fell out of her chair and onto the floor when Ryan Seacrest delivered the news.

  Leah grew up singing Carrie songs, but chose a Pretenders song to perform. It was one Underwood had performed on her season of Idol, as part of Idol Gives Back, working with kids in Africa.
