The Country Music scene is always growing, with so many artists trying to make their way into the world of Country Music. And here at Country 102.5, we love to support rising artists. So, we have created a Class of 2023: Country Artists To Watch list, so that you can get to know some of the artists that we think will do great things in 2023!

• Megan Moroney

  Megan has hit the country music scene with a bang with her single “Tennessee Orange”. The song first went viral on TikTok and then made it’s way to the radio! Her lyrics are as powerful as her voice, she is definitely one to watch!

• Nate Smith

  What an we say about Nate, but other than WOW!!  Nate Smith hit country radio hard with is debut single “Whiskey On You” garnishing a #1 single with his first ever song!  What a huge accomplishment that is!  His follow up single is just as strong and he is hitting the road with superstar Thomas Rhett this summer.   Nate is definitely off to a strong start to his career!

   

• Corey Kent

  We all got to first see and hear Corey Kent on The Voice in 2016, but it wasn’t until this year that Corey started to skyrocket.   With the release of his single, “Wild As Her”, which gave him his first #1 song, we are sure that Corey will be a household name before we know it!

• Jackson Dean

  Jackson Dean is a powerful singer/songwriter from Odenton, Maryland.  His soulful, gritty voices are bring his lyrics to life.  Jackson hit the country music scene with a thunderous bang, with his debut single “Don’t Come Lookin'” which gave him a number #1 on the charts.   Jackson is grinding out on the road, opening for superstars like, Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton and Eric Church!   If he comes to New England, you’ve got to check him out.

• Conner Smith

  Believe it or not, Conner Smith is a Nashville native!   In 2021, he release the song “I Hate Alabama” which went viral on TikTok, which led to a record deal with Big Machine Records.  He has an infectious energy on stage, bringing any audience along for a ride!   His latest single, “Creek Will Rise” is a banger and is climbing the charts!

• Hailey Whitters

  This Iowa native released her debut, self-funded album “The Dream” in 2020 to great critical acclaim which lead to her working with country stars like Little Big Town, Jordan Davis, Trisha Yearwood and Massachusetts songwriter Lori McKenna, when she put together the deluxe version of the album.   Hailey’s authentic country sounds, bubbly spirit and beautiful vocals make her one to watch in 2023!

   

• Drake Milligan

  You may know him from the hit show America’s Got Talent, where he took 3rd place in 2022.  His baritone voice and Texas drawl makes him all country!  Drake has said his influences are artists like George Strait and Elvis, and you can hear that all in his music!   This smooth singing country boy will win your heart for sure!

• Frank Ray

  This former police offer will blow you away with his smooth and powerful vocals!  Originally from New Mexico, Frank Ray walked away from police work to follow his musical dream, eventually landing in Nashville.   Now, he is giving us music that just makes you smile!  Sit back and enjoy, Frank Ray!

• Breland

  What can we say about Breland….he is pure joy!   A singer, songwriter, and producer from New Jersey, Breland will inspire you with his creativity, positivity and incredible talent!   For someone only in their 20’s, he has had an incredible career writing and producing artists from all formats.  Now, he is wowing us as solo artist and we are here for it!!

• Chayce Beckham

  It was easy to fall in love with Chayce’s soulful sound when he was on Season 19 of American Idol where he took home the big WIN!  While on the show, he performed the song “23”, which he wrote and is the currently making it’s way up the charts!   He is currently on the road with superstar Luke Bryan and he if you don’t know him….you will!

   

• Dalton Dover

  Dalton got his start by singing at this church as a kid, he then started to teach himself how to play the guitar at 16, and shortly after he was playing local bars, signing some of his favorite country covers. He put some of those covers on TikTok and was soon discovered by a producer, which led to his record deal. Dalton’s smooth and soulful vocals is music to our ears and his first single to radio “Giving You Up” is making it’s way up the charts!

• Georgia Webster

  This New Englander is making name for herself in Nashville.  Originally from Hampden, Ma, Georgia Webster grew up listening to artists like John Mayer, Miley Cyrus and Carrie Underwood.  Her love for country music ran deep and in 2020 her song “Tell Your Mom” was a viral sensation and led to her landing a record deal.  You may have caught Georgia when she opened up for Kelsea Ballerini at the Road Runner!
