Should I Report My Dad For Drinking And Driving While Doing An Uber Eats Delivery?
Jacob wrote in because he’s concerned about his dad. His dad has been driving for Uber Eats and stopped for a few drinks with him between orders. Should he be concerned that his father is drinking and driving? Especially if he’s doing it on the job? Or is he over reacting since it was only two beers? Is even one beer too many if you’re delivering for Uber Eats?

Hey guys I have a bit of a problem that you can understand why I wouldn’t call in about. Here it is.
My Dad and I have always been close, best buds. Well, the other night he was delivering for Uber Eats and decided to stop by my house for a bit because his deliveries took him to the area. I assumed he had ended his runs so I asked him if he wanted to split a six pack with me. He said “Sure!” and as he was done with his first about to get a second his phone went off.
He looked at it and said “Oh that’s a really good one. I think I’m going to take that.” I asked him what he was talking about and he said “Oh a delivery just came up BELCH! It’s a $20 tip for only a 30 minute delivery. I’ll take it and be right back.”
I asked him if he thought it was a good idea to be delivering food when he had been drinking and he said he wasn’t drunk or even buzzed so I let it go.
But I can’t get over the feeling that he could have hurt someone or gotten into an accident. If he had it would have been my fault for giving him booze.
I talked to my wife about it later and she said I should report him for drinking and driving on the app. I think I’m going to do that, would it be a mistake?
