Elle King called, ahead of her show at Roadrunner in Boston February 24, to chat about her dip into the country waters, and her tour. Honestly, talking to Elle is like talking to an old friend you haven’t seen in a while. She is so comfortable with herself, smooth in her conversation, and naturally witty. We had so much fun talking about her baby boy, who’s a toddler now and her deep connection to Boston (she lives part time in New England). There’s talk of the tour, the album, Come Get Your Wife, her appreciate of country music, and we play a game called ” King Things.”
