Elle King Talks The Tour, The Toddler, Boston, And Country Music

Get to know our neighbor, rising country music star, established pop star...Elle King!

Elle King called, ahead of her show at Roadrunner in Boston February 24, to chat about her dip into the country waters,  and her tour. Honestly, talking to Elle is like talking to an old friend you haven't seen in a while. She is so comfortable with herself, smooth in her conversation, and naturally witty. We had so much fun talking about her baby boy, who's a toddler now and her deep connection to Boston (she lives part time in New England). There's talk of the tour, the album, Come Get Your Wife, her appreciate of country music, and we play a game called " King Things."

Elle calls Rhode Island home when she's off the road, or touring New England. She mentioned she was loaded the bus up with her boy, Lucky. And yeah, she called him a diva.

There's a deep appreciation of the humor and honesty of country music, for Elle. She's profoundly proud of her album and it's truths.

Dierks! King once told me he is so nice, "it's discusting." And yet, he is her favorite person.
