It’s been a long time comin’ but… Taylor Swift is on tour! After the four year touring hiatus, Taylor Swift embarked on The Eras Tour back in March. Fans eagerly awaited this tour, after the scheduled Lover Fest got cancelled due to the pandemic back in 2020. Since Swift’s last tour in 2018, the Reputation Stadium Tour, she has released four albums! Fans of course were enchanted by these new albums and couldn’t wait to see their beloved songs performed live. The hype around this show basically broke Ticketmaster! These Taylor Swift tickets are a hot commodity.
The tour takes audiences on a journey of Taylor Swift’s career. Swift has released ten studio albums over the course of her career. Each album has it’s own “era”. The Eras Tour runtime lasts a whopping three hours and fifteen minutes long! Swifts takes fan through each era of her career (not in order of release… if you were curious). The set includes approximately 18 costume changes and she performs 44 songs. Two songs each night are what Swift calls the “surprise songs.” Every night she selects two songs from her discography that are not on the setlist. She plays these two songs acoustically; one on guitar and one on piano. Swift stated on the opening night of The Eras Tour that she is going to do her best not to repeat any surprise songs… unless she messes up so terribly that she wants to perform it again!
