It stinks when you finally have a lazy weekend day, the weather isn’t great, and you make all arrangements to shut things down for a good ol’ Netflix bingefest only to find out the show or movie you intended to spend some hours on the couch with is now gone!
That’s why we’re here to make sure this sad, sad situation doesn’t happen to you. At least in the month of October of 2023.
In October Netflix will bid farewell to 28 Days (the Sandra Bullock movie from 2000, not the post-apocalyptic zombie thriller), buhbye to so much Rocky, see ya to Ferris Bueller, and later to American Pie 9. (Did you know there were NINE American Pie films?!?)
In all, Netflix will be removing 131 TV shows, series, limited series, movies, and docs from the streaming platform so watch ’em while you can!
Netflix removes content from its streaming library for several reasons: licensing agreements, viewer demand, changing catalog focus, regional variations, cost considerations, limited rites, and the competitive landscape among others.
