These summer days evoke all the feels. From warm, fuzzy family memories to scenes of barefooting on the beach, smells of cookouts, ice cold sweet ice cream dripping down your cone, and the sounds of summer on your radio. Your friends here at Country 1025, radio personalities Jonathan Wier, Ayla Brown,Jackson Blue, and me, Carolyn Kruse, have shared some of their favorite things.

1. What’s your favorite new summer jam on Country 1025: I guess Party Mode by Dustin Lynch. I don’t know, hasn’t been a lot of summer songs this year.
2. What song comes to mind when you think of summertime(any genre): Summer in the City by The Lovin Spoonful
3. Summer drink: Jack and Coke, also for Spring Winter and Fall
4. Summer food: BBQ!
5. Summer getaway: Cedar Point Ohio, because it’s the Rollercoaster Capital of the World
6. Summer outdoor activity: Baseball, catch with my sons
7. Concert you’ve seen, or one you’re looking forward to seeing this summer: Best Summer Concert I ever saw was The Violent Femmes in front of the St. Louis Arch back in 2004 or so. It was 102 degrees and I think I lost 20 pounds from sweat but they played Blister in the Sun and everyone went insane. If you need one from this year I am looking forward to ZBB at Fenway.
8. Show or movie you are watching or streaming right now: Just finished Obi-Wan and am going to start the second season of Only Murders in the Building this weekend with Katie.

3. Summer drink: Margarita
4. Summer food: Fish and chips

7. Concert you’ve seen, or one you’re looking forward to seeing this summer: Only one I went to this summer was our Country Music Fest with Dierks Bentley. Not sure with the baby if I’ll be going to any more CMF! Country 1025 Country Music Festival we just had.

3. Summer drink: Lots of water – I’m boring!
4. Summer food: Kayem dogs on the grill and fresh corn on the cob
5. Summer getaway: The beach!
6. Summer outdoor activity: Kayaking – but mostly just floating aimlessly
