‘Golden Girls’ Pop Up Restaurant Opening In NYC – Time To ROADTRIP!

It’s time to get your Blanche on! A traveling ‘Golden Girls’ themed pop-up restaurant is opening in New York City. So it’s time to grab whoever you think of when that classic theme song hits and road trip to NYC!

Here’s what we know:

  • What is it called?

    Golden Girls Kitchen is the name… friendship is their game. And food. Lots of food.

  • Where is it going exactly?

    Midtown Manhattan. It’s opening at Skorpios, NYC.

  • When does it launch?

    Wednesday, November 16th. Mark it down!

  • Haven't I heard about this before?

    Maybe. It made headlines last year when it opened on the west coast in Beverly Hills (oooh fancy!). Now it’s our turn to experience the fun and nostalgia.

  • What are they serving up?

    Fast casual Golden Girls-themed menu items and loads of desserts (of course). Here’s some of what you can expect:

    GOLDEN MAINS

    -Sophia’s Lasagna Al Forno (with meat) with garlic bread
    -Sophia’s Lasagna Al Forno (Can be ordered gluten-free on site) with garlic bread
    -The Lanai (A “Miami Style” Cuban Sandwich) with fries
    -Bacon Lettuce Potato Sandwich (Say It Fast) with fries
    -Vegan Bacon Lettuce Potato Sandwich (Say It Fast) with fries
    -The Rose Marie Soup and Salad Combo (broccoli cheddar or vegan butternut squash)
    -Rusty Anchor Omelet Sandwich (with meat) + Tots
    -Rusty Anchor Omelet Sandwich (vegetarian) + Tots
    -Avocado Toast with meat + Tots
    -Avocado Toast vegetarian + Tots

    SHADY PINES SIDES

    -Nancy’s Side Salad
    -Edgar Allan Poe-tatoe French Fries
    -Side of Sicily Garlic Bread (secret sauce from the Festival of the Dancing Virgins)

    That’s the goal. To make you feel like one of the ladies. Expect to be completely immersed in the world of The Golden Girls!  Just look:

  • What does your ticket include?

    Each ticket includes a 90-minute reservation as well as your choice of a Golden Main + slice of cheesecake. There will be additional sides, desserts, beverages, and exclusive The Golden Girls Kitchen merchandise to add on arrival.

  • What will be the hours of operation?

    Wednesday – Thursday: 2:00pm – 10:30pm
    Friday: 2:00pm – 11:15pm
    Saturday: 10:00am – 11:15pm
    Sunday: 10:00am – 10:30pm

  • Where will it be off to next?

    Miami, San Francisco and Chicago pop-ups are slated for Spring 2023.

  • With it be Instagram-worthy?

    Ummm, yes. The pop-up’s release says: “Snap a photo in Blanche’s Boudoir, complete with shag carpet and a palm print bedspread, or pretend to chat with the ladies through the girls’ yellow kitchen phone.”

  • How can I get tickets?
