Happy St. Patrick’s Day Boston! These are a few of my favorite greens, in Boston. Confession: I am not Irish, not very much anyway. We only recently found out through a DNA test that my mother’s Scottish heritage was a mixed with Irish. But unlike a lot of people in Massachusetts, I am however a Bostonian and by proxy, I believe that entitles me to some celebrating of the Irish heritage on this holiday.

By the way, did you know the City of Boston is offering free parking today? It’s not because of the luck of the Irish, but rather in celebration of an historic day.  It’s Evacuaion Day. This is a day to recognize the event during the Revolutionary War, when the British troops evacuted Boston. What better way to celebrate then to “evacuate” all parking fees?
