Kruser’s Local Catch

Musical talent comes from all over the map, in all shapes, sizes, sexes, genres and backgrounds. It’s amazing to me how many are right here in our own backyards. I love learning about New England artists who are out there doing there thing, and making their art. I recently discovered a singer/songwriter I’m thrilled to share with you today. Meet Jeremiah Bones from Ashburnham, my Local Catch of the Week.

Jeremiah is a rare breed. He’s an Army veteran and a singer/songwriter, but he also runs a non-profit to help military families in need (read more about that below). He’s a dedicated artist with a love for country, rock and all things music. Undoubtedly, the discipline of the military likely serves him well in a tough business. With all that’s on his plate, like family, career and charity work, he isn’t putting his love for creating music on the bench. Bones is stepping up to the plate and ready to hit it out of the park.

The Sound Of Jeremiah

On his debut single, “She Wouldn’t Go,” this Massachusetts artist delivers an edgy, dark and  honest piece of art. It’s real life come to music. Bones has relationship regrets, but wants to take the first steps at owning up and trying to right the ship.  That’s the lyrical journey in this rock-tinged jangly jam. Tough but tender vocals beautifully express Jeremiah’s heartbreak at past mistakes. Frankly, it’s an impressive debut from Jeremiah Bones from Ashburnham, my Local Catch of the Week.

See the music video for Jeremiah’s new release, get to know him better and find out how to follow him on social media. It’s all here, as we support our local singer/songwriters in their journey to be heard and seen. Bone’s will be releasing his debut album soon, so make sure you check in on his social pages in the coming weeks.

  • The Music

Jeremiah just released his original song “She Wouldn’t Go. ” He told me “This song is about a time in my life when my wife and I separated due to all kinds of reasons. I wrote this song while reflecting on all of the things I’d done wrong and began taking accountability for my wrongdoings.”
