With “You, Me and Whiskey” sitting on the edge of #1, Justin Moore and Priscilla Block took time out of their busy schedules to call and talk about their duet. Justin is always fun to talk to, and Priscilla packs a punch with her personality, so I knew this would be fun! We chat a little about the song, where you can catch HERE, and then we played a rousing round of a game I made up. Duet partners and “partners in crime” Justin Moore and Priscilla Block reveal much in this lively game of “Do You Duet.”

The veteran hit maker and the rising star make an usual but perfect pair in their likely soon-to-be chart topper, “You, Me and Whiskey.” It’s a different route for Justin’s more traditional sound, but he’s embracing every minute of it’s success. Stepping out of the box and “keeping it fresh” was important for the “Why We Drink” singer. Meanwhile, “Just About Over You” singer Priscilla Block is hoping to score her first #1. This song is a big deal for both of the artist.

Listen, below, as Justin Moore and Priscilla Block reveal much in this lively game of “Do You Duet.” We get to know the singers a little better, finding out about some of their preferences. From whiskey pairings to duet partners, you get a little inside look into these country stars’ personalities. Justin is a great storyteller in music, and in conversation, and Priscilla is a breath of fresh air with her honest answers. It was great to talk to the duet partners who’ve become good friends, or as Justin said “like brother and sister.”

  • 1. Name an all-time favorite duet- any genre

I opened the game, “Do You Duet” with the question: What’s you all time favorite duet. Justin Moore took this one on his own.

  • 2. Name another artist You'd love to sing with

Priscilla Block was quick to answer this one. There was absolutely no hesitation. And don’t you think Block and the star she mentioned would sound phenomenal together?

  • 3. What do you pair with whiskey?

Since their smash hit together is called, “You, Me and Whiskey,” I asked the pair to name something they would pair with whiskey. Not gonna lie, their answers induced a chuckle. And they were SO different.

  • 4. Favorite country music duo

While Priscilla struggled to come up with an answer to who her favorite country music duo is, Justin had his answer quickly. And she agreed.

  • 5. . Since we're in Boston...

The question is: Since we are in Boston, what would you have with a cold Sam Adams, in your best Boston accent. Justin knew where to go, right away. And Priscilla followed.

  • 5. EXTRA CUT: Why Priscilla was happy the song wasn't about champagne

Not part of the game, but certainly sharing-worthy, Priscilla said she was so happy the song wasn’t about champagne, and here’s why.

  • 7. EXTRA CUT: Priscilla on Working With Justin

For a new artist to be chosen to duet with a country music icon, is a very big deal. So, I asked Priscilla who was the first person she called when she found out she was going to be on a song with Justin Moore.

  • 8. EXTRA CUT: It's All About The Whiskey

I asked both artists, “what is your brand of brown?” Justin, who always has great stories, shared one about a whiskey sponsorship he had for years, but would switch out the whiskeys. Listen here:
