Charles Kelley grew up in Augusta, Georgia as the youngest of 3 boys. According to Wikipedia, he got into music because of his older brother, Josh, who is also a singer/songwriter (and married to actress Katherine Heigl. Charles and Josh and their oldest brother John even started a band called Inside Blue, when they were teenagers. He’s known his Lady A bandmate, Dave Haywood since middle school. And they even graduated high school together. Later, Charles met Hillary at a Nashville bar. They actually recognized each other from the social media platform MySpace.
