Who’s excited? I am! Bruins fans everywhere are ramping up for a fresh new season! Hope springs eternal, and all eyes will be on the black and gold, starting tonight in Washington at 7:00. Before the Bs battle the Capitals, let’s get loose, get ready, and get a little goofy. I’m sharing the hard hitting hockey stuff with you here, like how many pillows do the players like to sleep with, how would Brad Marchard describe former teammate Zdeno Chara, and why hockey is love.
Enjoy these videos and pics, and I’ll leave you with a quote from George Vecsey, author and longtime sports columnist for the New York Times: “Some of us love hockey not just for its ferocity and skill but for its underlying code of civility off the ice.”
(*Side note: Vescey also helped Loretta Lynn write her autobiography, Loretta Lynn: Coalminer’s Daughter)
Let’s goooooooooo!
